Our Story
Flowers by Barrett Wholesalers, is a 2nd generation family owned, full service, wholesale florist.
Our family story began back in 1971 as our parents founded The House Hockey.
Somewhere around 1981-82 it blossomed into a flower shop. As the youngest of six kids my brothers & I all worked in developing the business into what it is today. Our father on many occasions would remind us to be right with your customers, give them a good value for their money and they will return. My brother Matt and I take great pride in up holding that value.
We are proud to design and deliver the freshest flowers to our valued customers. We buy direct from the farm,, which allows us to sell beautiful flowers at a reasonable price. As a small, local family business, we are committed to making high quality arrangements ensuring every customer feels a sense of happiness with their selection. That is one of my favorite parts of the job when you see the joy that the flowers bring to other people. Our mother always said “give & you shall receive.”
